The story world of dentistry
Modern fiction writers face a mammoth task in trying to maintain their edge and avoid being accused of being unoriginal. Although writing is like the colour spectrum, there are a theoretically infinite amount of options, finding one of these options which doesn’t seem too similar to anything done before is another matter.
You could write about a group of Dublin dentists who decide they’ve had enough and they want to travel the world. They put their dental practice sales and use the proceeds to go around the globe in an old camper van. The reader following them as they explore themselves, their relationships with each other, their true desires and how they feel at having cut themselves off from their former lives, maybe from their friends and families as well.
Would they find that they are liberated by this change of circumstance, that they view life in a totally different way separated from the humdrum city existence and daily cosmeticdentistryguide.co.uk/articles/root-canal.html they previously encountered? Or would they begin to long for the safety and security of home, of a regular pay cheque and space away from each other?
Whatever you choose to write about, remember it doesn’t have to just be something you think has the most commercial appeal even though you have no interest in it yourself. Write what you know and you will write it best, and chances are you will find others who share your thoughts and want to read them.
